Ridgeline Above the Inversion

Field dispatchChiang Mai, Thailand2025-03

Filed from altitude during the Above Clouds shoot. The cloud layer sat below the ridge line for most of the morning, flattening depth cues and turning every wide shot into a study of texture rather than distance.

Movement over broken granite at 1,400 meters demands shorter strides and constant ankle work. The camera crew noted that pacing settled into a metronomic rhythm after the first ascent — useful reference for any future edit that wants to match cut frequency to footfall.
